My Name is Mordechay (Moti) Cohen (מוטי כהן), 

I have been interested in art for more than four decades and have been painting and drawing for more than three decades. I'm working almost without prior planning until "it finds me". It is an intuitive process, until a theme, an idea or a vision finds me. I'm painting in the studio with no windows as I do not need a view. I am using industrial materials like tar, black ink and other colors which enable me to express my feelings. A good painting to me is one that manages to arouse the viewer's interest and thought. For me, my works are enigmatic stories whose details I do not know.
